- Is coaching necessary for the preparation of the SSB Interview or can I prepare myself with some books?
- Ans- See it is one formal interview in that you have to show your natural and self-developed qualities to them, Coaching just guides you on the right path but they can't change you. So there is no specific need to join coaching just go through some books and for the whole procedure, you can check our old articles.
- What if I want to join the flying branch?
- In this case on the Day, four of your SSB Interview one test is conducted named Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) which consists of some questions regarding distance, time, reasoning, etc. If you clear that then you can go for a flying branch after declared medically fit for IAF.
- Can my parents or any siblings come with me to my SSB? And is there any facility to live them at the center?
- You can go with your parents, friends, or any else but there is no facility for them by SSB centers for their residence.

- Can I keep my mobile or any electronic item with me at SSB Interview?
- when you are entering at SSB center they will collect all of the electronic material like a mobile, tablet and you don't have permission to use them till your SSB gets completed. After completion, they will return to you those things.
- If I have completed my travel journey through-plane then can I get a traveling allowance for the same rate as a plane ticket?
- NO, though you have traveled from a plane or any other they will provide traveling allowance for AC Tier 3 train seat to both ways. You can claim it for the first time.
- How many days my Medical Test held after my SSB Interview?
- It depends on SSB Centres and availability of doctors it can take 7-10 days for your complete medical test.
- If you don't come in merit after clearing SSB and Medical, do you need to attend SSB again?
- Yes, though you got recommended from SSB and clear your medicals still if your name is not on the merit list then the whole procedure starts from first and you have to attend complete SSB Interview.
- Is the medical test the same for IAF, Naval, and Indian Army SSB Interview?
- SSB Medicals is different for different armed forces of India, which means there are different criteria for all forces. For IAF and Naval branch your eyesight must be 6/6, etc.
- In what case, there is no written exam required to attend SSB Interview?
- For all types of Technical entries and direct entries, you can attend a direct SSB Interview just you have to complete some criteria.
- If I got recommended for NDA and Technical Entry Scheme also then which is a better option for me to join any academy?
- Both of the institutes are best to become an officer in defense forces. The only difference between both academies are cadets passed from NDA will go for nontechnical. Not everyone but most of the cadets joins the technical branch. But in TES you will teach for B tech and your further job is purely technical.
