Documents Required For SSB Interview

Hello Defense aspirants, In this post, we are going to see which documents required for SSB Interview and what is the right dress code for SSB Interview. See there are various SSB entries for all Indian army, navy & air force SSB Interviews. Also various exams like NDA, CDS, AFCAT, etc. So as per your SSB entry requirement of documents vary. Here is the list provided for documents which are mainly required for SSB.

• SSB Call Letter With 2 Xerox copies
• 10th/12th Mark sheet with Certificate (Original & 2 Photocopy)
• Identity Proof (Voter ID/Adhar Card/Driving Licence/Passport/PAN Card) Original and 2 Photocopies
• Graduation/Post Graduation Degree Certificate (Last year students must bring a signed certificate from the principal)
• Risk certificate signed by parents/ guardian
• NCC Certificate (Original & Photocopy) if available
• Commercial Pilots License issued & signed by DCGA If Available (Only for IAF)
• Bank Passbook photocopy
• Original Travel Ticket ( Only for the first time to claim TA )
• Self 20 Passport Size Colour Photographs

Documents Given to you for filling at SSB Interview

• Risk Certificate
• Self Identity Form
• Traveling Allowance Form
• PIQ Form

This is a list of all documents you have to fill at the SSB Interview. If you have lost any of your original documents then you can show the document from Digilocker or E-Document. If you haven't received your certificates then a letter from the principal is also valid temporary. Some SSB Centres will not allow you if you fail to show your original documents within time. That's why there is one more terminology that is Documentary Out. In this case either they will give you another SSB Date or will be asked you to show documents by a digital method.

Dress Code for SSB Interview

SSB Interview is the deciding factor to enter the armed forces as an officer. As it is one type of Formal interview so its dress code also must be formal accordingly. You will require the following material things for SSB.

• 2 Formal Shirts
• Dark Colour Trouser/ Formal Pant
• Formal Black Shoes
• 2 Full white T-shirt and White half pant ( For GTO )
• White Shoes with White Socks ( for GTO )
• Tie or Blazer ( not necessary but if possible then bring it )
• Formal Black Belt

This is the dress code for SSB Interview. Formal shirt and pants are used at your Screening day, Psychology Day & Conference Day. And other things are required at your GTO. Try to carry all things mentioned above. And also if possible then wear plain shirts and pants.
